The Illinois Volunteer Money Management Program is always looking for
dependable, dedicated volunteers. This volunteer opportunity requires 2 to 6
hours a month of a volunteer’s time and offers flexible hours to fit into almost
anyone’s busy schedule. The volunteer must pass an Illinois State Police
criminal background check, provide 3 references, and attend both an orientation
and training session. Ongoing training is also provided for volunteers. There
are volunteer opportunities for those who want to work with seniors in their
home as well as those who prefer to write checks and balance checkbooks in our
office at the MCHD. If you are interested in volunteering for this program
