Board of Health
The Mission of the Macon County Board of Health is
to promote and protect health and control disease within its jurisdiction and
financial capability pursuant to its powers and duties set forth in Illinois by
“An Act in relation to the establishment and maintenance of county and
multiple-county health departments” (55 ILCS 5/5-25001 et seq.). The Board
pursues its mission through management of the Macon County Health Department.
Board of Health meetings are held at 7:00p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month
at the Macon County Health Department.
